We were lucky enough to be staying only a 10 minute walk from the Fan Fest at Centurion Cricket Ground where we watched the opening game of the World Cup. We were washed along with thousands of other fans heading to the zone... vuvuzela's blowing and flags waving we were ready for the action!
It was an awesome vibe to be amongst a sea of yellow and green South African supporters as Bafana Bafana and Mexico thrashed it out leading to a draw. The crowd exploded when South Africa scored 1-0 and the dancing and singing got even more intense - if that was possible...
